PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently heat a fixing belt using a simple configuration. SOLUTION: Since a nip part 29 for performing heating to fix toner 23 on an imaging paper 22 is formed in a contact part between the outer periphery part of a heating roller 24 and the fixing belt 25, nip width can be secured fully. A heat-generating plate 26 is provided over length L in a section on a more upstream side than the nip part 29 in the circulation path of the belt 25. Since the plate 26 has no movable part, its constitution is simplified. The belt 25 is efficiently heated by the plate 26.
