PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device capable of input various kinds of commands by improving the feeling of operation, when an operator operates it and by effectively using a dead space and provide an electronic device having the input device. SOLUTION: This input device 50 is disposed in an apparatus 10 for inputting commands by having an operator rotate. The input device is provided with a body 60; a key top 70 mounted on the body 60, capable of freely inputting the command by rotating in the first rotating operation direction RD about the rotation center on the body 60 side from a neutral state and capable of inputting the command by rotating in the second rotating operation direction LD crossing the operation direction RD; and a click touch generation means 80 disposed between the key top 70 and the body 60 for the key top 70 to generate click touch to the body 60 in rotatively operating the key top 70 in the operation direction RD.
