PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust the optical axis of the laser light oscillated by a semiconductor laser. SOLUTION: The semiconductor laser array unit 4 is equipped with a semiconductor laser array 1 constituted by mounting semiconductor lasers on a heat sink 2 in two dimensions, and a collimator fitted to the tip of the semiconductor laser array 1 through a fixed support arm 2A and the optical axis 1A of a laser beamβoscillated by a semiconductor laser is adjusted by this alignment adjusting method. The fixed support arm 1A is irradiated with the laser lightλfrom a laser 51 for adjustment which is provided in addition to the semiconductor lasers and partially and plastically deformed with the laser lightλto shift the position of a collimator lens 3, thereby adjusting the optical axis position 1A of the laser beamβin the semiconductor laser array unit 4.
