FIELD: glassmaking. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to glasses used in medicine- destination illuminating equipment. Objective of invention is achievement of correlated color temperature 3400-4200 K on illumination sources and transmission of visible rays at least 63% for heat-absorbing glass used in medical equipment. Glass contains following components, %: SiO2 70.0-75.1, Na2O 10.0-17.0, Al2O3 0.5-3.0, CaO 0.1-6.0, MgO 0.05-3.0, BaO 0.0-5.0, ZnO 5.0-8.5, Cl ion 0.1-0.5, F ion 0.1-1.5, Fe2O3 0.4-1.3, C 0.0-1.5, Co2O3 0.0-0.005, CeO 0.0-0.5.
