METHOD AND DEVICE FOR EXTRACTING FAILURE AND DEFECT OF PRINTED MATTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract an image of a failure and defective part of a printed matter which is difficult to detect with the naked eyes because there is little density difference from a printed matter that is difficult for extraction and image processing generation in a conventional image processing technology. SOLUTION: An automatic generating means for tree structure-shaped image transformation is used and is also specialized for failure and defect extraction processing of a printed matter, and a failure and defect of any unknown printed matter can be easily and accurately extracted by adding gradation images for improving extraction accuracy more and introducing an image transformation processing filter for applying comparison operation processing to the gradation images.
