PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive apparatus of a motor-driven compressor for an automotive air conditioner, in which a small and economical switch can be used as a switch which cuts off a current supplied to a DC-DC converter for a control circuit of an inverter apparatus. SOLUTION: In a motor drive circuit 12 which has an automotive battery 11, an inverter apparatus 13 housed in an electromagnetic wave shielding box and driving a motor 100, a control circuit 15 of the inverter apparatus 13, and a DC-DC converter for the control circuit of the inverter apparatus, a power is supplied to the inverter apparatus 13 via first cable way connecting the automotive battery 11 with the inverter apparatus 13, a power is supplied to the DC-DC converter 16 via a second cable way, branched from the first power route and connected with the DC-DC converter 16, and a current cut-off switch 19 is provided in the middle of the second cable way. |
