MEDIA OUTPUT CONTROL METHOD AND PORTABLE TERMINAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a media output control method that can output media information stored in a portable terminal to an external output device without impairing the portability of the portable terminal. SOLUTION: The task above is attained by the media output control method adopting a media information transfer procedure that retrieves an output device able to make short distance wireless communication with the portable terminal according to a prescribed protocol, connects the portable terminal and the output device obtained by the retrieval through the short distance wireless communication in an information transferable state, allows the portable terminal to transfer the media information to the output device connected to the portable terminal through the short distance wireless communication and allows the output device connected to the portable terminal to output the media information.
