PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internet facsimile machine that receives an error caused after discrimination of a type of received mail and applies proper error processing to the mail depending on the discriminated mail type. SOLUTION: The Internet facsimile terminal discriminates a type of received electronic mail and carries out error processing depending on the discriminated electronic mail type when detecting a prescribed error after the discrimination.
