PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a following characteristic for variation of noise without causing disturbance of an adaptive filter coefficient. SOLUTION: This device has a level control means 55 controlling a level of an information signal, adaptive filters 28, 29 generating a pseudo-noise signal having correlation with a noise component mixed into the information signal based on an energy wave from energy wave generating means 41, 43, 44, subtraction means 26, 27 subtracting the pseudo-noise signal from the information signal outputted from a level control means 55 and obtaining the information signal in which the noise component is cancelled, limiter means 34, 35 supplying the information signal in which the noise component is cancelled to adaptive filters 28, 29 after the information signal in which the noise component is cancelled is suppressed to the prescribed threshold level or less, variable gain means 32, 33 controlled by a control means 46 controlling a driving signal source and varies step gain and a forgetting coefficient in a noise canceller device.
