FIELD: electronics. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to base unit of video display that includes monitor. Base unit has upper cover integrated with lower part of monitor, lower cover joined to upper cover with hole located in center which houses joint. It also includes mechanism adjusting inclination angle linked to upper cover and located in hole of lower cover housing joint. It is used to tilt monitor by application of force directed upwards or downwards. There is mounted mechanism adjusting angle of turn intended to rotate monitor, of upper cover linked to monitor and of lower cover to the left or to the right. Such design of base unit of video display ensures easy adjustment of inclination angle and rotation of monitor thanks to application of simple but not combined effective force in upward or downward direction.
