A method for chromatographic separation of a hydrogen ion, characterized in that a substance having a conjugate base (A-) of an acid (HA) as a functiona l group is used as a stationary phase, and an electrolyte containing a cation having a greater ion exchanging force than that of hydrogen ion is used as a n eluent. The method allows the selective separation of hydrogen ion and the quantitative analysis thereof with high precision.
