PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supervisory device that can supervise an area located at a remote distance and uses a lighting means with small power to be able to supervise an object at night. SOLUTION: A camera stabilized base 3 on which the supervisory camera 2 is mounted is provided with an outer gimbal section 9 and an inner gimbal section 10, the base 3 suppresses an undesirable change in an image pickup direction through a plurality of stages of suppression control with high accuracy even when an external disturbance is exerted to the base thereby stabilizing the supervisory camera 2 with high accuracy. Angle sensors 5-7, 29 detect the image pickup direction of the supervisory camera 2 and give the result to a search light stabilized base 8, which drives a search light 4 for an angular change so that the light emission direction is coincident with an actual image pickup direction. The search light 4 is stabilized-controlled in cross-reference with the actual image pickup direction of the supervisory camera 2 and the image pickup direction is traced with the light emission direction so as to suppress a deviation in the light emission direction with respect to the image pickup direction. |
