PURPOSE: A three-terminal organic electro-luminescence device is provided to easily represent gray scales by applying a voltage to the third electrode in order to control luminance of each electrode. CONSTITUTION: An ITO layer as the first electrode(11) is formed on a transparent substrate(10). The first organic layer(22) is formed on the ITO layer(11). The first organic layer(22) is formed with a hole implant layer and a hole transfer layer. The second organic layer(26) is formed on an upper portion of the first organic layer(22). The second organic layer(26) is formed with an Alq3 layer as an electro-luminescence layer and an electron transfer layer. An Al layer(20) as the second electrode(16) is formed on an upper portion of the upper portion of the first organic layer(22). The thickness of the hole implant layer, the hole transport layer, the organic electro-luminescence layer, and the electron implant layer are 40nm, 20nm, 60nm, and 20nm.
