The invention relates to an actuator with an actuator drive motor (1), driving an actuator gear on the output side thereof, which has an actuating body (3) on the input side and an actuating body (5) on the output side. The output side actuating body (5) co-operates with an actuating element (11), by means of which the operating behaviour of an engine or working machine may be influenced. A drive component (8) is provided for the input- or the output-side actuating body (3, 5), with a region (25) without any force transfer and on which a spring element (21) may run in a recess (19).
