Method for regulation/control of transmission ratio of continuously variable transmission with ratio for constant driven speed and/or driven torque delayed until drive oscillations occur, and then raised to eliminate oscillations

The method controls the transmission ratio of drive speed to driven speed of esp. a CV transmission. The transmission ratio for a mainly constant driven speed and/or a mainly constant driven torque is delayed, until oscillations in the drive speed occur. The ratio is then raised slightly, to prevent drive speed oscillations. The oscillations are generated by a drive motor falling below a min. RPM, or by torsion oscillations. The drive speed after raising of the ratio is corresponds to the min. RPM. The drive speed is filtered and/or integrated to detect oscillations.
