The method for transferring drinks sachets (1a, 1b) arriving in columns on a conveyor (2) into a single row on a second conveyor (6) moving at right angles to the first uses a carrier bar (11) for the sachets. This forms part of a parallelogram of levers (12a, 12b, 13). An Independent claim is included for a mechanism for carrying out the method.
