A ventilation device (10) includes a flap (32), end caps (38) and mounts (36). The end caps (38) are secured to the flap (32) by a barbed clip (40) and have chambers (100) for containing a mounting portion (50) of each mount (36) when the flap is closed. A coupling portion (52) of each mount (36) includes a pivot pin (62). The pivot pin (62) is formed with projections (64) which are adapted to engage in recess formations (86, 88) of a recess (80) formed as part of the flap (32). Each mount (60) has a latching portion (54), coupling portion (52) and mounting portion (50), formed integrally. A gasket (34) is provided.
