<p>A portable radio unit in which the housing can be held in stabilized state and a hand or fingers grasping the housing does not inadvertently access a part of the housing where an incorporated antenna exists even if that part is not identified. In the inventive portable radio unit, a transmitter (4a) and a receiver (4b) are disposed, respectively, at the opposite ends of a housing (1), an incorporated antenna (9) is disposed on the side of the housing (1) closer to the receiver (4b), and a recess (1c) serving as an index for preventing fingers grasping the housing (1) from being located at the part where the incorporated antenna (9) is disposed, at the time of using the portable radio unit by grasping the housing (1), is provided on the side of the housing (1) closer to the receiver (4) than the part where the incorporated antenna (9) is disposed.</p> |
