摘要 The method involves determining individual brake pressures so driving stability can be increased by ESP (electronic stability program) intervention. When traveling round a bend with understeer it is detected if there is a force transfer between tires and road correlated with a threshold value when the ESP intervention is made at a rear wheel on the inside of the bend. If the threshold value is reached or exceeded the intervention is also carried out at the inside front wheel. The method involves determining pressures for individual brakes using several input parameters so that vehicle driving stability can be increased by an ESP intervention. When traveling round a bend with understeer it is detected whether there is a force transfer between tires and road correlated with a threshold value when the ESP intervention is made at a rear wheel on the inside of the bend. If the threshold value is reached or exceeded the intervention is also carried out at the front wheel on the inside of the bend.
