A method for manufacturing an optical information−recording medium comprising a substrate, a signal recording layer on a major surface thereof, and a light−transmitting layer made of a radiation−curing resin on the signal−recording layer. When the light−transmitting layer is formed, the radiation−curing resin is dripped onto the substrate, the substrate is turned at a predetermined coating rotational speed so as to spread the radiation−curing resin over the substrate by spin−coating, the rotational speed is increased after the coating, and the radiation−curing resin is cured by irradiating the substrate with radiation during the acceleration.
