The presently disclosed invention relates to compounds of general formula I: and/or any pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. The present invention discloses methods of preparing such compounds, and their use as medicaments having a K+-channel-blocking activity to treat and/or prevent K+-channel-mediated diseases, such as cardiac arrhythmias, reentry arrhythmias, supraventricular arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation or atrial flutter.
