The jumping ski has in the front area of the ski wedge (2.1,2.2) one or more webs (3) running symmetrically or asymmetrically to the centre axis of the ski. Between the webs and the side pieces of the ski there is the same or different types of ski material (5) so that when stressed by the wind a defined eccentric distortion of the ski is generated in the front area of the ski cross section. The skis are paired together so that each inwardly aligned area of the front ski cross section of each of the two skis of one pair permits the maximum eccentric distortion under wind load.
