ALLERGEN REMOVING AGENT

An allergen removing agent which comprises (a) an organic compound forming an azeotropic mixture with water having an azeotropic temperature of lower than 100˚C under 1013.25 hPa, (b) water and (c) a solid source substance, such as an organic compound having a melting point of 25˚C or higher, which is soluble in at least one of the components (a) and (b) and forms a solid when the liquid components in the allergen removing agent are evaporated; and a method for removing an allergen using the agent. The allergen removing agent can be used for removing allergen substances, for example, living beings such as mites, and cadavers and droppings thereof, with simple and easy cleaning operations, with good efficiency, without changing the feeling of the object from which allergen substances are removed.
