<p>A combined power station is provided with a number of means (44, 44a, 55) for increasing output over the nominal maximum capacity. The combined power station is operated in an electricity network, in which the price of current varies with the power demand on the network. Below a first threshold value for the current price the combined power station is operated without said means. The combined power station operates at highest efficiency and minimal variable current production costs. With a power demand, in which the current price lies above a first threshold value, at least one of the means is placed in operation. With a power demand in which the price for current lies above a maximal threshold value, all means are placed in operation thus permitting an income optimisation by maximum current production of the combined power station.</p> |
