The boathouse encloses the entire craft and has its body mounted to a float and composed of a single tarpaulin. The tarpaulin is forced down to admit the craft and pumped dry once raised again so as to protect the craft from below. Sidewalls and roof are then fitted to the float to protect the craft from above.
