<p>A network system having a Web accelerator for reducing traffic of a network and enabling high-speed data transmission and reception, and a method for operating the same. The Web accelerator is implented by grafting a net buffering function and caching function based on a Web session management thechnique and a load balancing function and information compression function based on requests into switches used in a conventional client/sercver network system. Even a user having no expert knowledge can construct a network infra in a simple manner, thereby reducing costs required to construct and maintain an existing network infra with a plurality of devices. Further, servers can efficiently utilize resources with respect to client's requests so as to increase their response speeds. Moreover, the servers can be prevented from being overloaded due to a congestion of client's requests. Furthermore, the srevers can utilize an extremely reduced amount of resources to maintain TCP/IP connections. Therefor, the entire Web speed is increased, thus making it possible to accommodate a larger number of users.</p> |
