An agent for eating or drinking or for medical use which has the property of raising the body temperature and comprises a group of amino acids basically consisting of threonine, prorine, glysine, valine, isoleucine, leucine, tyrosine, phenylalanine, lysine, aspartic acid, serine, glutamic acid, alanine, methionine, histidine, and arginine, which group was found to have the effect of raising the body temperature. This group, even when including carnitine or/and tryptophan, was found to have the same effect. The agent is highly effective in raising the body temperature and, based on this effect, functions to reduce body fat accumulation, alleviate poor blood circulation, warm up the body which has cooled, etc. |
