摘要 Packaging contact adhesive tapes obtained by production of a polymer dispersion containing a contact adhesive by radical polymerization at 80 deg C of a monomer mixture in the presence of a Redox initiator, where at least 50 wt.% of the oxidation component is in the polymerisation vessel and the reduction component and the bulk of the monomer is added continuously. Process for preparation of an aqueous polymer dispersion by radical polymerization of a monomer mixture containing (wt.%): (a) 4-12C alkyl acrylates (80-99); (b) at least one monomer different from (a) of glass transition temperature of at least 0 deg C selected from: 1-20C alkyl (meth)acrylates, vinyl esters of 1-20C carboxylic acids, vinyl aromatic, ethylenically unsaturated nitriles, vinyl halogenides, vinylidene halogenides, and their mixtures (0-20); (c) at least one ethylenically unsaturated mono- or dicarboxylic acid or its anhydride (0-10); and (d) at least one different from (a) and (b) ethylenically unsaturated monomers (0-20), in the presence of at least one Redox initiator, including an oxidation component and at least one reduction component, in a polymerization vessel, where most of the monomer undergoing polymerization is added continuously to the polymerization vessel and the maximum polymerization temperature is 80 deg C. Independent claims are included for: (1) a polymer dispersion obtainable by the above process; (2) a contact adhesive containing at least one aqueous polymer dispersion as described above; (3) an adhesive tape or label including a carrier and a coating and at least one contract adhesive.
