BIODEGRADABLE THERMOPLASTIC LINEAR COPOLYMER, METHOD FOR PREPARING SAME AND USES THEREOF

The invention concerns biodegradable thermoplastic linear copolymers of the polyester type, obtained by polycondensation of saturated monomers of the diacid (a), diol (b) and or acid-alcohol type wherein are associated at least two other coupled monomers having functional -COOH and -OH groups capable of reacting with said functional groups (a), (b) and/or (c), and/or with each other, one of the added monomers (d) being provided with a tertiary carbon and the other added monomer (e) being an unsaturated acid anhydride. Said polyester-type thermoplastic linear copolymers are entirely biodegradable and can be used for producing articles such as, in particular, smart cards, electronic labels, impermeable films, toys, or they can be used as adhesives or printing inks.
