An inexpensive particle beam quantitative sensor for quantitatively determining the energy of a particle beam in a wide energy range with high accuracy, such as an electron beam from a radioactive nuclide having a maximum of an electron beam energy over 1 MeV. The particle beam quantitative sensor is characterized in that it has a multi−tube structure in which a plurality of plastic scintillation tubes or scintillation liquid layers are coaxialy nested. Light−shielding films are provided between plastic scintillation tubes or scintillation liquid layers in their upper and lower portions so as to prevent fluorescence emitted when a particle beam enters a plastic scintillation tubes or scintillation liquid layer from entering the adjacent plastic scintillation tubes or scintillation liquid layers.
