A cover (1) covering the front face of the number plate (Q) of a vehicle fixed to a number plate containing part (P1) formed by recessing a part of a body (P). The cover (1) has a shape of transparent plate disposed at a position spaced apart from the front face of the number plate (Q). A part (1A) being fitted to the circumferential inner side edge at the opening (P1a) of the number plate containing part (P1) is provided at the circumferential edge of the cover (1). The cover (1) is bent along the line of the body (P) forming the circumference of the number plate containing part (P1).
