The system has a first and a second main element (11), each with a pivot element (10) fastened to it via a pivot joint (12). The pivot elements are positively connected via a linear power transmission unit (32), e.g. a cable pull, which is active in at least one direction. A pivot movement of the first pivot element relative to the first main element is always associated with a corresponding pivot movement of the second pivot element relative to the second main element. The power transmission unit may be formed as a hydraulic or pneumatic transmission device, with cylinders with rods supported against the pivot elements.
