A horseback-riding saddle comprises a saddle base secured on the horseback, and a saddle seat secured to the saddle base. The saddle base comprises two pressure distributors interconnected by a bridging arrangement that provides clearance over the spinal region. Each pressure distributor includes a non-flexible section and a peripheral flexing portion. The saddle seat is provided with fastening structures for detachable fastening to saddle base. - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method of providing a saddle for a specific horse and rider combination, by providing a saddle base of predetermined size for the horse, providing a saddle seat for the rider, and detachably arranging the saddle seat on the saddle base. |
