<p>A traveling vehicle (1) comprises a driver’s seat (19), frames (3, 17, 179) supporting the driver’s seat (19), wheels (5,9) rotatably attached to the frames (3, 17, 179), a pair of pedals (21R, 21L) adapted to be linearly lifted and lowered by being stepped on, and a driving mechanism (23) for converting the movement of the pedals (21R, 21L) into a rotary motion and transmitting the rotary motion to the wheels for driving. This driving mechanism (23) includes a one-way clutch for transmitting the stepping force on the pedals (21R, 21L) as a rotating force for the wheels (5, 9) in one direction only.</p> |
