The spoked vehicle wheel rim is of steel plate, in an assembly of a number of components. It has an inner flange to be screwed on, a center rim ring and an outer rim well (3-5). The rim ring and the flange form an inner shell (1) to carry the main wheel rim loading. The hollow interior (7) of the inner shell is covered by an outer decorative shell (2) of steel plate, bonded to the screw flange and the rim flange (3) with an auxiliary load-bearing function.
