A porous sheet formed from a polymeric elastomer(1),characterized by having a thickness of 10 to 500µm,having micropores in inner parts thereof in a number of 500 to 15,000 per mm2,and having an average pore diameter of these micropores of 1 to 20µm,a breaking strength of 1 to 15 N/mm2,and an elongation at break of 100 to 500%;and a fiber composite sheet which comprises the porous sheet and,superposed thereon,a base comprising a fiber aggregate as the main component.The porous sheet has excellent texture and is suitable for use as a substitute for natural leathers for use in shoes and clothes.
