Rotor system for a rotary or mine hoe comprises a base rotor (1) with a number of support plates for holding tools (4.1, 4.2). The support plates are removably connected to the base rotor. Preferred Features: Different tool support plates or different tools for producing different working diameters (d1, d2) are fixed or removably connected to the base rotor. A support plate and/or a tool are fixed or removably connected to box-like segments (5) on the base rotor.
