PURPOSE: A cargo delivery and position checking method is provided to enable a user to check a status of a cargo like a cargo position or a delivery vehicle in real time by using a mobile phone. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of a driver of a delivery vehicle accessing an ARS(Automatic Response System) with a mobile phone, the driver inputting delivery status data at a mobile phone according to an instruction of the ARS, the ARS storing the input delivery status data and the position data of the mobile phone at a database in a web server, the web server processing the input delivery status data and the position data of the mobile phone and displaying the data on a web site, a customer searching for delivery data on the web site, and the customer making a call to the mobile phone of a corresponding vehicle driver by using the searched data.
