PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an image on the both sides of a short-length sheet and a long-length sheet without lowering the throughput. SOLUTION: This laser beam printer 1 is provided with an image formation part 2 forming an image on the sheet, and a sheet re-feed carrier part 3 feeding the sheet for forming the image on the surface in the opposite side of the surface of the sheet having the image formed by the image formation part 2 to the image formation part 2. The sheet re-feed carrier part 3 is provided with different-length reversing passes A and B for guiding the sheets, the long reversing pass A having a long guide passage has a wide reversing pass and is bent from a branch part D more largely than that of the reversing pass B.
