PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a user even when the user sits on a closet seat in any posture, and to prevent detection by mistake the closet seat, etc., as the user of the closet seat or the like in the case of the non-sitting of the user. SOLUTION: The projection region 6 of projecting light 5 projected from a light-emitting section for a sitting detector 4 disposed to a casing 1 is set within the range which does not exceed the outer circumference of the closet seat 2 and within the range which does not detect the surface of the closet seat 2 under the state in which the seat 2 is floated from the top face of a stool body B by irregularities formed to the top face of the stool body B and the rear of the closet stool 2 under the state in which the seat 2 stands at an angle close to a self-standing releasing angle. The projecting light 5 is projected towards a projecting point 6a set at a place corresponding to the waist section of the user sitting on the closet seat 2 in the projecting region 6 under a normal state and at a place where a part of the body of the user sitting under an abnormal state is contained in the directional-characteristic range 5a of projecting light 5. |
