PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device for driving a fluid control valve such as a passage switch valve for an air conditioner, achieving energy saving property and lower cost. SOLUTION: The passage switch valve for the air conditioner comprises a switching transistor 406a provided between an electromagnetic coil 101 for a pilot solenoid valve and a power supply 10. The switching transistor 406a is of a N-channel MOS-FET type. The gate voltage of the switching transistor 406a is controlled by a control part C1 and a signal conversion part 406b. A line BL- on the negative electrode side of the power supply 10 is connected to 0 V of the control part C1 to eliminate the need for electrical insulation means at the signal conversion part 406b. Rated voltage drive is applied in the attraction driving process for attracting a plunger of the pilot solenoid valve and PWM drive is applied in a holding driving process for holding the plunger. 0 V is applied in a separation driving process for the plunger. High- voltage drive and low-voltage drive can be applied in the attraction driving process and in the holding driving process, respectively.
