PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding method capable of feeding sheet even from a low stack of sheets at slight intervals to a sheet feed portion of a sheet working machine. SOLUTION: When stacked sheets S0 fed onto a table 11 for a sheet reversing board 10 is lower than a mounting height of a height detecting sensor PH2 provided at the upper part of a sheet supporting portion 12 of the sheet reversing board 10, only the sheet reversing board 10 is turned nearly 90 deg. in the state of keeping a sheet auxiliary arm 28 turntable around a shaft 21 as a turning center of the sheet reversing board 10 in a laid-down condition, to supply the next sheet S0 onto a sheet carrying device 40.
