PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof structural body of a building capable of being easily constructed and having a curved roof shape allowing a construction cost to be reduced and a method of constructing the roof structural body. SOLUTION: In this roof structural body 50, a plurality of purlins 51 are disposed in multiple stages according to roof shapes. With rafters 52 resiliently curved along the purlins 51, the rafters 52 are tensely installed on the purlins 51 and fixed to the purlins 51 with screws 53. By positively bending to deform the rafters 52, the rafters can be deformed in shapes according to the shapes of the roof. Thus the shapes of the rafters 52 must not be processed according to the shapes of the roof, and the roof structural body 50 having any curved roof shape can be easily formed with a low cost. Since a conventional roof truss structure can be formed without a large change, a construction cost can be reduced.
