PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a doctor unit capable of preventing a fog or the like from occurring by uniformly pressing a doctor blade even to a printing plate having a low accuracy and making ink scraping uniform. SOLUTION: At least a distal end side of a caul plate 3A for supporting the doctor blade 2 is formed in a pectinated state. The blade 2 is pressed against a surface of the printing plate by the pectinated part of the plate 3A, and hence the blade 2 is deformed to copy the surface of the plate to a rugged surface of the plate. Thus, good ink scraping is executed.
