PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ballpoint pen in a simple structure obtained by press- fitting a rear end of a tip holder for mounting a ballpoint pen tip at a distal end in a distal end opening of an ink housing member, which hardly allows ink penetrating into a fitting section of an ink housing cylinder with the holder to leak outside from the distal end opening of the housing member by employing a simple structure without forming the housing member or the holder of a specific material. SOLUTION: The ballpoint pen comprises the tip holder having the ballpoint pen tip for rotatably holding a ball at the distal end and having a rear end mounted at the distal end opening of the ink housing member for immediately hosing the ink for the ballpoint pen, and a collar part formed at the tip holder and having a rear end face contacted with the distal end face of a barrel. The pen further comprises an ink reservoir formed at the rear end face of the collar part of the tip holder and/or the distal end face of the ink housing member.
