PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston device stronger, lighter, more inexpensive, less in hardening wear than a cast iron piston, the piston device having less machining processes, more inexpensive, less gas leakage, more strength and less air pollution than a light alloy piston. SOLUTION: A piston body 1 is manufactured by deep drawing a steel plate and then a piston bearing 2 is deep drawn. A terminal end caused by deep drawing is finished by agent machining. Assembly is carried out by pressing a piston bush 3 having collar steps into the piston body 1 at its inside. The steel plate piston body 1 is polished after carbonization and hardening or nitrogenation.
