PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in conventional building plates such as a flat plate with a flat decorative face, a three-dimensional pattern plate with a three- dimensional pattern formed by embossing or a mold, a two-color coated plate using different colors between the projecting parts and recessed parts of the three-dimensional pattern plate, and the like which are used as interior and exterior materials, but the three-dimensional pattern of the mere three- dimensional pattern plate becomes unrecognizable when viewed at a distance, and the two-color coated plate gives the monotonous impression of only the color difference between the projecting parts and the recessed parts only to emphasize the repeated monotonous rugged pattern which is far from acquiring a three-dimensional effect particularly when viewed at a distance. SOLUTION: The rugged pattern is formed at a part of a decorative face of this building plate, and a shrinkage paint with a small quantity of pigment component (with a large quantity of resin component) is applied to the decorative face. The viscosity, fluidity, surface tension, and the like of the shrinkage paint are used to obtain design in harmony with the height difference of the rugged pattern.
