PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a hairwater slight in hair weight feeling and hair greasiness and capable of imparting the hair with good trimness as well, when applied to the hair. SOLUTION: This hairwater is prepared by compounding water with preferably 1-10 wt.% of diethoxyethyl succinate followed by solubilizing it. By the way, the hairwater is preferably compounded with preferably 0.5-10 wt.% of ethanol.
