PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide spheroidal metal oxide fine powder which has excellent flowing property and burr property of a resin composition without depending on the kinds of epoxy resin even in a high charging area of a filler, a filler, a resin composition, and a sealing material. SOLUTION: In the spheroidal metal oxide fine powder, the average grain size is 0.2 to 1.0μm, the content of grains of <=1.0μm is 1 to 5%, and the coefficient of variation in the grain size is 40 to 150%. The filler contains the spheroidal metal oxide fine powder and a base filler. The resin composition is filled with the filler. The sealing material consists of the resin composition.
