PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of welding a connecting pipe to a steel pipe while preventing the generation of mists without peeling the resin film on the inside surface of the steel pipe. SOLUTION: The area corresponding to at least the welding area of the inside surface of the steel pipe coated with a resin is coated with a film (heat resistant coating film or a heat resistant film, such as a sheet) and is welded, by which the generation of the mists is prevented. The heat resistant film usually contains inorganic components and can be formed of a composition containing at least one kind of the inorganic components selected from metals, water glass, frit, ceramics and silicone. This method is applied to the weld zone of a plug, etc., and is suitable for welding the connecting pipe to the steel pipe. |
